Iced Coffee with Chocolate Ice Cream, topped with chocolate sauce and chocolate sprinkles, makes a wonderful Summer Cooler. This drink is just the one you would want to indulge in this hot weather.
With the kids being at home for their summer vacation, they are off to their activities. Konda is going for her Badminton classes, while the boys are going for Dance classes. The boys are out of the house most of the day, which makes it a bit easy for Athamma to manage. Athamma has her hands full as she is at home for the vacation time. Konda goes for the classes in the evening and says she is so hungry when she comes back.
She is in no mood to eat anything but says wants something very filling that she can drink as well. That’s a tall call and left me wondering what to make. I have shared most of the regular drinks I make at home. Thought I must make something different, yet something she will love. So it reminded me of this Cafe Sua Da ~ The Vietnamese Iced Coffee.
I knew Konda loves coffee. We normally let them drink coffee when we are traveling, and we have seen how the kids are so eager to drink coffee. I thought I should make a drink with this base and made a fresh decoction and then decided what else to make. I always stock chocolate ice cream, so adding that to this was no new thing. Finally, what really mattered was that this was so delicious. In fact after clicking and she was all set to drink when she realized it wasn’t as chill as she wanted because of the clicking. So she put it back to the freezer for 10 mins. The way it came out was even more fantastic, though I had lost all my patience to click a new picture at that time.
I have only these for you and you can enjoy!
Sending this to my Kid’s Delight event, guest hosted by Amara, themed on Summer Coolers.
