Learn to make Pizza Pinwheel recipe from scratch. For the second day of Pizza Snacks, it’s Pizza pinwheels or rolls. I guess this was the most sought out version in the marathon till now. Many have posted this and seeing my kids love towards this, I can understand why everybody wanted to make this.
Coming to the pinwheels, earlier I had made pizza bread rolls, where each roll gets attached to other rolls and end up being like a pull apart bread. While these are baked as such, more in the pinwheel shape.
As I said I refrigerated the prepared pinwheel overnight and baked it fresh just before kids left for their school. I was eager to know their feedback. However didn’t ask them right away as I wanted them to tell me themselves.
When I was making the dinner, Peddu came and asked me what I was making. When he heard what I was going to make, he made face and said it wasn’t so interesting. I asked him why he was saying that. And he very silently said it wasn’t as interesting as the pizza I sent him for his school snack. His friend also loved it came the reply. I immediately asked him if he shared or gave everything to his friend. He said he shared and his friend loved it. He wanted to know when I will make more and send for school.
Hearing her brother say this, Konda also joined in and said her friends simply loved it. In fact, I had packed for her friends. So she was saying they loved it and wanted more. I was all pleased and assured them that I will be making it soon and pack for their friends as well.
So you know I have a winner of a recipe here.

Oh I love these and it reminds me of my kids school days. I had to pack two lunch boxes so my son would get to eat. The boys eyes would pop up with the aroma of pizza and there was no way he could avoid them. 🙂
