24, 25, 26 December
- Should take up 2 weeks of BM without fail. It can be any two weeks.
- Will have to post on all 3 days with 2 weeks without fail
- You cannot take the same themes, except for the different Kid’s Delight theme.
- Should follow the accepted theme all 3 days, meaning if you choose one topic like Rice, you should post all rice based recipes all 3 days.
- Should link to the Blogging Marathon page.
- Is expected to actively give feedback on others post.
- Mandatory reading and commenting on fellow participating member.
Another thing can be that you as a kid liked the particular dish. Else it will not be eligible for both the events.
Sowmya will be hosting the Edition and is calling for ideas that can fit under Sweet Festival dishes for Kids. Other thing that you might have to look out will be the following
It should be sweet only (savories not accepted)
It should be pure veg and no eggs
Cooking should be done in less than an hour
Kid’s Delight – Whole Grain cooking (17,18,19 and 24,25,26)
Sandhya Ramakrishnan will be hosting the next edition and she is calling for dishes that are made with whole grain and kids approved. It can be any course and any cuisine. Just the two conditions the dish has to be made with whole grain and approved any a kid.
As theme says, please make a dessert that can be served after a meal. This can include Indian Dessert as well.
Any Regional with Course specific
Same regions, different course
Example: If you select Tamil Nadu, then you will have to do a breakfast, a lunch, a dinner or it can be any other combination like sweets or drinks. Only condition, the course can’t be same.
Pizzas as you like
You can make different styles of pizzas, with different sauces, different flours, healthy pizzas, dessert version. breakfast pizzas anyway but it has to be pizzas.
All three days has to be different combos as expected.
Should be a Cake, Dessert, Gravy for each day. It can be any cuisine, clause being the entire cooking has to be done in a pressure cooker. Like the tadka has to be done in the same pan, no other cooking vessel should be added for any purpose.
Recipes Healthy Recipes (Can be Diet friendly for Diabetic Diet, Diet for Weight loss)
Showcase dishes that are considered healthy and suitable for any specific diet. The diet can be for diabetic friendly, Weight Loss program, Weight gain etc. All three can be for one program or a mix as well. However it should be an accepted diet. It’s not like you make a roti and say it is good for diabetes.
Cooking with Corn
Can be corn kernels, baby corn, but not corn flour or corn starch. You can make a starter, rice, dessert etc. Each day different course.
Special Theme – Do three weeks and for the 4th week you get to do the special theme.
And this month you can showcase your “Bookmarked recipes can be online or otherwise”
