17, 18, 19 October
- Should take up 2 weeks of BM without fail. It can be any two weeks.
- Will have to post on all 3 days with 2 weeks without fail
- Same theme can’t be taken by one blogger.
- Should follow the accepted theme all 3
days, meaning if you choose one topic like Rice, you should post all
rice based recipes all 3 days.

Spice your Life! will be celebrating its 4th year Anniversary and there is no better occasion than this to celebrate.
the focus of this blog is all for Kids, I thought Kid’s delight event
will be the most apt one. So let’s party by bringing in kid approved
dishes. You are welcome to bring on any course of the meal. However only
Vegetarian entries are accepted.
Rasya will hosting this edition themed on Healthy Makeover. Anything that’s considered fatty, greasy can be converted to healthy dish for kids by replacing some of the ingredients or by steaming instead of deep frying.
As the theme says, you got to make sweets that are made using sweetners other than sucrose. The dishes that you make should have alternative sugar substitutes. It can be of any cuisine
Using Moong Dal, make one of the Combo
Moong dal can be split yellow dal or whole green gram as well

Cooked along with Rice
Cooked along with Greens
Cooked along with Potato
As a blended ingredient
In all of the above, the lentil can be ground, used as such. And it should be the star ingredient.
Cooking with Berries
Search out for all the berries that you can find and cook with them. Any course is fine, as long as the berry is used as the star ingredient.
Sandwiches and Wraps
Well as the name says, make as many sandwiches or wraps as you want. And it can be with anything, not necessarly with bread.
3 Days of Upma
Upmas are such convienent dish, so take this up to try out other different ones than the regular rava upma.
With the Navaratri coming this month, let’s cook something special for Navaratri and share. Again this can’t have anything like modern sweets like bread halwa etc,. even though you may make it. I am looking at traditional sweets and savories. And any other special dishes that’s prepared at your home.
Special Theme – Copy Cat – Do three weeks and for the 4th week you get to do create dishes from your BM friends.
For this Edition’s Special Theme you can simply cook anything from any
BM member’s blog and enjoy. No restriction on it being from this
edition’s themes. Just anything is fine.
