Nungu Nannari Sorbet

Nungu Nannari Sorbet is a delicious summer drink, made with the best of the summer produce. I was able to get tender nungu seeds, that were silky and soft. The water was so sweet as well. The seeds were soft, so I had to scoop into it and remove the flesh. We always have Nannari Syrup stocked. So making this drink was a breeze.

Since we always get the Nannari syrup, I never attempted to make it myself. With lemon juice, this drink tastes super delicious. And the new touch was this tender nungu flesh.

If you have never tasted Nungu, you are missing something. Try this drink if you can access these ingredients, it really tastes out of the world. If you want to read more on Nungu, check this out.

Sending this to my Kid’s Delight event, guest hosted by Amara, themed on Summer Coolers.

  1. Nungu is at its peak season. The ones you have bought looks so tender. I can imagine the combination of nungu, sharbath and lemon. Totally yum..

  2. I have never heard of this fruit.. is this fruit native to southern india? Somehow it reminds me of bel ka sharbat because the final colour looks similar. Surely must be very cooling for the body.
