For the final day under BM#48, Say cheese, I had planned to make something with Paneer. However the dish that I had in mind was not fully developed and time was running short and I simply gave up thinking further on it and decided to make this simple, yet delicious Paneer Tikka. I know I have couple of versions of Paneer Tikka already, still I couldn’t stop myself from trying this when I read about it at Viji’s space.
Paneer in any and all form is loved by my kids. They have liking for just two things, Chocolate and Paneer. So there is never a no for both these in any form. Imagine this Tikka was quite spicy, yet they relished it so much and were wanting more. Since as I said my recipe in mind wasn’t fully developed, I had to make something quick for the third day. However I was so tired after the biryani preparation along with this tikka, that I simply had no energy to sit and edit the pictures.
So a day delayed, comes this delicious Paneer Tikka. You can bake it in tandoor, your OTG or simply pan fried as well. The recipe requires you to marinate the paneer overnight. Knowing me, you know I can never plan so much in advance so all it rested was some 10 mins, by the time I got other things done. Still I have no complains as I used homemade paneer and it was so soft.
